Still at the restaurant and just wanted to state how impressed I am with this gem. EVERYTHING we had was delicious. We ordered the martini tower (we preferred to get only the pistachio and lemon cheesecake options), basil gimlet, Hugo spritz, Caesar salad, hot honey wings, bolognese pasta, hot honey char pie, and pear winings pie.. zero complaints whatsoever. This restaurant was recommended to me by my gf who had just been the weekend prior, and INSISTED on returning. I wasn’t even in the mood for Italian but immediately I understood why she was so persistent. This was one of the most authentic and tasty meals I’ve had since I’ve been in Atlanta. I just wish I had more pictures for the review. Update: my gf ordered the tiramisu to go and told me it, too, deserved a mention in the review.

Loved our personalized espresso martinis. Enjoyed the bruschetta and the ATL Scoop pizza. They have a nice wine list and we liked the Chianti. Their gelato and affogato looked delicious but we didn’t get a chance to try. Service was attentive. The space is pretty small, so highly recommend doing reservations.

Honestly super disappointed with this place. I have no idea how the food has this many good ratings. Let me start by saying all of the staff was lovely, especially the guy running the hostess stand. He was so nice! But this pizza is not good. Not at all. It looks amazing and takes a great picture but the taste isn’t there. The crust is super thin and so floppy that you can’t even hold the slice regularly. As soon as you pick it up everything slides off. It is greasy and not in a way that adds flavor, just sogginess. And the taste itself was pretty flavorless. We had the hot honey char pizza. The burrata board was phenomenal and my boyfriend loved his espresso martini, but we won’t be back.

Sunnyside Pizzeria exceeded all my expectations! The wood-fired pizzas were absolutely incredible with the perfect crispy-yet-chewy crust and fresh, high-quality toppings. Every dish we ordered was delicious, from the flavorful wings and creamy pasta to the fresh Caesar salad and sandwich. You can truly tell that quality ingredients and attention to detail are a priority here. The atmosphere was bright, welcoming, and perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience enjoyable. As someone who dines out frequently, Sunnyside Pizzeria stands out as one of the best pizza spots I’ve visited in the Atlanta area. The pizzas were outstanding, the Italian-inspired dishes were packed with flavor, and everything was beautifully presented. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of having Roman as our server! Very courteous and knowledgeable of the menu items. Our food was amazing and definitely surpassed my expectations! Hot Honey Lemon Pepper wings were amaaaaazing! Pizzas were great and nicely balanced with the cheese/toppings crust! Carbonara was rich and creamy 🥰! This is def a great first time experience! We would def come back if we were in the area! Thank you, Roman! ❤️
